About
Experience shared. Decisions explored.
CIO Decision Hub is a free place for aspiring and practising CIOs, CTOs and engineering leaders to explore real leadership trade-offs through short fictional cases.
Each case has three decisions. Choices change the evidence you see next, and the debrief compares defensible alternatives and the conditions under which each makes sense. It is not a course, a quiz or an assessment.
Debriefs show a trade-off profile across five dimensions: Service continuity, Evidence quality, Accountability, Delivery pace, Control. The profile is an illustrative signal, not a grade, and choices that are unsafe or rarely defensible stay flagged.
7 cases with 3 choices at each of 3 stages give 189 complete decision sequences (7 × 3 × 3 × 3). Some sequences share evidence and outcomes, so this is not 189 distinct cases or endings.
The hub was founded by Salah Eldesoky, who wrote the first seven cases. Technology leaders from other industries are invited to propose a contribution; every contribution is reviewed before publication.
All organisations, figures and outcomes are illustrative. Views are personal and do not represent any employer.
